Knights Compete at Tommie Twilight

RESULTS

ST. PAUL - The Martin Luther College men's track and field team competed at the Tommie Twilight event at St. Thomas on Thursday.

The Knights had their highest finishes in the field events. Todd Brassow led the way by taking third place in the High Jump with a jump of 2.01 meters, matching his height from last week's season-opening event.

In the Long Jump, Josh Arndt finished fifth with a jump of 5.89 meters. Ben Snyder finished sixth in the Triple Jump, while Martin Loescher and Seth Zoellner each finished in the top ten in the Discus Throw. Rudy Nelson and Loescher also took home top ten finishes in the Javelin Throw.

In the running events, Jonathan Fleischmann set a new personal best in the 5000 Meters. Arndt (100 Meters) and Luke Rosenbaum (1500 Meters) also finished in the top 20 in their events. 

MLC will return to action on Saturday, April 16, at Gustavus Adolphus.
