RESULTS

ST. PETER, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's track and field team competed at the Lee Krough Invitational at Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday.

Martin Loescher was the top finisher for MLC in any event, taking home third place in the Javelin with a throw of 50.68 meters. Rudy Nelson finished 14th in the Javelin, while Loescher also finished 16th in the Discus at the event.

Elsewhere in the field events, Ben Snyder and Jesse Rider tied for seventh place in the High Jump with jumps of 1.77 meters. 

Josh Arndt had two top finishes, taking sixth in the Long Jump with a jump of 6.0 meters, and then finishing 13th in the 100 Meters with a time of 11.57.

Joshua Brands finished 18th in the 1500 Meters, and also finished inside the top 15 (along with Rider) in the 800 Meters.

MLC will return to action on Saturday, April 23, when they compete at Carleton. That event is scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
