RESULTS
ST. PETER, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's track and field team competed at Gustavus on Saturday in the team's final tune-up before the UMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships next weekend.Â
Todd Brassow continued his strong season in the High Jump, tying for first place with two other competitors with the jump of 2.01 meters.Â
Also continuing his good form from previous meets was
Martin Loescher, who took home another top five finish (fourth place) in the Javelin Throw with a throw of 45.9 meters. Loescher also finished 12th in the Discus Throw.
Jesse Rider came away from the meet with a pair of top ten finishes, finishing seventh in the High Jump, and ninth in the 800 Meters.
Josh Arndt also did well in multiple events, finishing 11th in the Long Jump and 12th in the 100 Meters, while
William Chojnacki (seventh) and Ben Snyder (ninth) also took home top ten finishes in the Javelin Throw and Triple Jump, respectively.
In the running events,
Jonathan Fleischmann finished third in the 5000 Meters with a time of 16:38.52.
Jacob Melso took seventh in the 800 Meters, and 17th in the 1500 Meters.

The Knights will return to action next weekend, when they compete at the conference championships. The two-day event will be hosted by Minnesota Morris, and starts Friday, May 6.
