RESULTS

SIOUX CENTER, Iowa - The Martin Luther College women's track and field team opened its season at the Dordt Invitational on Saturday.

The Knights had a number of strong finishes in the in the field events at the competion, led by a pair of top five finishes in the Triple Jump by Stephanie Rockhoff (fourth at 9.86 meters) and Emily Muir (fifth at 9.81 meters).

In the Long Jump, Jade St. Germaine made the finals and finished ninth with a jump of 4.74 meters.

Cassadra Anklam finished 15th in the Shot Put, while Charlotte Huebner led a host of MLC throwers in the Javelin with a throw of 30.04 meters.

The Knights will return to action on Saturday, April 16, when they compete at Gustavus Adolphus College. That meet is scheduled to start at 10 a.m.
