MORRIS, Minn. - Martin Luther College senior guard
Grace Schultz set a new program single-season record for steals in Wednesday's 74-59 loss at Minnesota Morris.
Schultz entered the game two shy of Emma Babinec's school record of 84 steals, set during the 2005-06 season. Schultz finished Wednesday's game with three steals, giving her the 85 this season.
This season, Schultz moved into second place in program history with 253 career steals, 14 shy of the MLC record of 267, held by Erica Babinec (2008-12). Schultz also ranks third in career points (1,2654) and career field goals (471), as well as fourth in career rebounds (648).
Schultz and the Knights will close out the season next week with games against Crown (February 14) and Northwestern (February 17).
