SUPERIOR, Wis. - The Martin Luther College men's soccer team lost 5-0 at UW-Superior on Saturday.
The Yellowjackets took the play to the Knights early, jumping to a 1-0 lead in the 11th minute, and then adding a second goal in the 26th minute to take a 2-0 lead into the half.
UWS put the game away early in the second half, scoring goals just 90 seconds apart in the 55th and 56th minutes, and then adding a fifth tally in the 64th minute.

Caleb King allowed the first four goals, stopping nine of the 13 shots he faced.
Gabriel Plocher came in for the final 30 minutes, and stopped four of the five UWS shots on goal.Â
MLC fell to 9-5-1 on the season and 4-2-1 in UMAC play with the loss. UWS improved its record to 6-7 overall and 5-1 in league play with the win.
The Knights will return to the pitch on Monday, October 17, when they host Augsburg in non-conference action. That game is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m.
