ST. PETER, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's soccer team lost its game at Gustavus Adolphus College by the score of 5-0 Wednesday night.
The Gusties scored twice in the first half to take a 2-0 lead, and then added three more goals in the second half to pull away.Â
GAC started the scoring in the 23rd minute, and added to the lead in the 40th minute before the end of the half.
In the second stanza, the Gusties tallied goals in the 49th, 53rd (penalty kick) and 77th minutes.
Aaron Swanson led MLC with four shots, including one shot on goal.
Hugo Ugalde-Bemer was credited with a pair of shots.
MLC fell to 1-3 on the season in defeat, while GAC improved its record to 1-3 with the win.
The Knights will return to action on Friday, September 9, when they travel to North Central for a non-conference game scheduled to start at 4:15 p.m.
