SUPERIOR, WIs. - The Martin Luther College men's soccer team's season came to an end with a 6-0 loss at UW-Superior in the semifinal round of the UMAC Championships on Wednesday.
The Yellowjackets opened the scoring early in the fourth minute on a goal by Blake Perry, and then scored four times in a span of 6:21 midway through the half to push their lead to 5-0 at the half.
Neither team was able to generate much offensively in the second half until UWS capped the scoring with a goal in the 84th minute.Â
The Yellowjackets were credited with 30 shots in the game, 16 of which were on goal.

Joshua Higgins saved 10 of the 16 UWS shots on goal.
The Knights closed the season with a 6-13-2 record following the loss. UWS improved to 15-3-2 on the season and advanced to the championship game of the UMACÂ Championships with the win.
