DULUTH, Minn. - The Martin Luther College baseball team opened conference play with a pair of 11-1 losses at St. Scholastica on Friday.
CSS 11, MLC 1 (8 innings)

Dillon Solomon (0-3) allowed only two hits in six innings, but walked eight CSS hitters on the way to four runs allowed.Â
MLC trailed only 4-1 after six innings thanks to an RBI-single from
Jonas Lindemann, but the Saints responded with five runs off MLC reliever
Andrew Mantz in the seventh inning, and then added two more off
Callahan Diersen in the eighth to secure the win.
Matt Baehman led the Knights with two hits.
