STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Martin Luther College men's soccer team tied Buena Vista 2-2 in the season opener on Friday night thanks to a pair of late goals.
The Knights trailed 1-0 for much of the game, but tied the game 1-1 77th minute on a

The Beavers scored two minutes later to once again take a one-goal lead, but MLC once again found the equalizer in the 90th minute when
Joe Graumann scored to send the game to overtime.
Marcus Sims assisted on Graumann's goal.
The two teams played a pair of 10 minute extra periods, but neither team could find the back of the net as they settled for a 2-2 tie.
Graumann finished with a team-best five total shots and three shots on goal. Meihack added three total shots and two shots on goal.
Josiah Mittelstadt was strong in his first career collegiate start, stopping 14 of the 16 BVU shots on goal.
MLC will get right back into action when it hosts St. Olaf tomorrow (Saturday, August 31) at 3 p.m. in the team's home opener.Â
