DULUTH, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's tennis team saw its season come to an end with a 9-0 loss at top-seed St. Scholastica in the semi-final round of the UMAC Championships on Tuesday.
In doubles play, CSS swept the three matches by the scores of 8-2, 8-5 and 8-6.
That trend would continue in singles, where the Saints took all six matches in straight sets to score the 9-0 overall win.
MLC finished its season with a record of 4-6 following the loss. CSS advanced to the the finals of the tournament and improved to 9-4 this season with the win.
