Knights Drop Match to Yellowjackets 8-1

The Knights lost a road match to UW-Superior, 8-1, on a cold Friday night. The  Yellowjackets jumped to a 5-0 first half lead which the Knights were unable to overcome. MLC finally got on the board midway through the second half on a goal by Naomi Foley. UW-Superior's Mya Holmquist finished the match with a hat trick. 
The Yellowjackets outshot the Knights 35-9. Goalie Grace Sievert had 15 saves for the Knights. 

The Knights all to 4-8-2 on the season and 2-6-1 in the UMAC. The Knights travel to Morris to take on UM-Morris in another UMAC match on Thursday.
