Women's Cross Country MLC SID

Women Repeat as UMAC Conference Champions

The women's team took first overall with 35 team points followed by BLC at 69 and UW Superior with 82.  Leading the Knights and winning the race, Maya Habben was the first individual to place first overall in MLC history.  Maya led the race throughout, taking command early to lead the Knights.  Hannah Kratz was at one point out of the top five, but moved up within the race to take 2nd place overall.  This is also the first 2nd place individual finisher in MLC.  This marks the first 1-2 finish by the Knights. Teammates Abigail Hillmer was 6th, Claire Tomhave was 11th, and Leah Nushart took 15th overall.  Katelyn Mensching and Hope Sulzle also placed in the top 25 individuals.  This is the second conference title in a row for the Knights.

Habben, Kratz, and Hillmer earned all conference honors, while Tomhave and Nushart were all conference honorable mention.
