The MLC women's soccer team lost a matchup with Crown College, 3-1, in a home UMAC match on Wednesday. Crown jumped off to an early lead with a goal at the 2:57 mark of the first half. MLC responded to tie the game on a goal by Lydia Krenke off an assist from Nicole Porter at the 31' mark of the first half. Crown would retake the lead just a few minutes later.  Crown would score a goal late in the second half to seal te victory. Crown controlled most of the game, as MLC only got off 10 shots to 17 for the Polars. Grace Sievert had 10 saves for the Knights. The Knights are now 4-6-1 on the season and 2-4 in the UMAC. The Knights face another critical UMAC match against UM-Morris on Saturday for homecoming.
