MINNEAPOLIS - The Martin Luther College women's tennis team saw its season come to an end with a 5-0 loss to top-seeded University of Northwestern-St. Paul (UNW) in the semifinal round of the UMAC Tennis Championships on Friday.

The Eagles took all three doubles matches by the scores of 8-2, 8-1 and 8-4 to race out of the gates with a 3-0 lead.

In singles, UNW won the number-one and number-three matches in straight sets to secure the win.

The Knights finished their season 1-15 on the season in defeat. UNW moved on to Saturday's final round while improving its record to 20-3.
