Women Fluster Buena Vista In 3-1 Victory

The Lady Knights flustered Buena Vista 3-1 on Tuesday.

It was the Knights second victory of this young season as they traveled to Storm Lake, Iowa. They got off to hot start wit ha second career goal from Hailey Rice in the 5th minute. Hannah Schroeder scored her fourth goal of the season minutes before half time and Nicole Porter capitalized the Knights victory with her first goal of the season in the 65th minute. 

The Knights defense was able to withstand a spray of shots from Buena Vista and was supported by 6 saves from GK Grace Sievert. After another great defensive performance from the Knights, they are gathering momentum into Saturday's clash with Bethany. 

The Knights improve to 2-1-1 in the 2022 campaign. The Knights enter conference play in Mankato with a 2 PM kick-off time.
