St. Paul, MN - The MLC women's cross country team had four runners receive individual All-Conference recognition announced by the UMAC earlier on Tuesday.
Maya Habben (First Team),
Katelyn Mensching (Second Team),
Claire Tomhave (Second Team), and
Leah Nushart (Second Team) were the MLC recipients.
As a team, the women took second at the UMAC Championship on Saturday, just behind UW-Superior. The Knights and Yellowjackets each led the conference with four honorees.
Habben earned first team for a third consecutive season and ran the 6K in 24:36.7 that put her sixth overall. Mensching placed 17th overall in 2022 and improved upon that result last Saturday, coming in at 10th with a time of 25:00.1.
Tomhave claimed second team for second straight year after her mark of 25:07.6 in the championship round, while Nushart was named second team for a third consecutive season due to finishing in 14th place (25:12.0).
