St. Paul, MN - 96 MLC Student-Athletes were named to UMAC Academic All-Conference team announced on Wednesday. The awards are given to 2023 Fall Student-Athletes who excel in the classroom and the conference as a whole received 558 honorees, which broke the mark of 525 set in the Fall of 2021.

Individuals who earn a 3.5 or better grade point average (GPA) or better during their respective semesters of competition are recognized with the prestigious individual honor, while the team with the top GPA in each sport is also recognized. 

In the team competition, Martin Luther claimed five of the eight awards which are given to the team with the top team GPA for their respective corresponding semesters. The five sports included: Men's Cross Country (3.83 GPA), Volleyball (3.77 GPA), Women's Soccer (3.75 GPA, Men's Soccer (3.36 GPA), and Football (3.08).
