St. Paul, MN -
Lisa Hoffer was named the UMAC Softball Player of the Week (April 15-April 21) on Tuesday. The fifth-year senior had a big weekend series at North Central and played a vital role in the Knights' sweep of the Rams. In the three games, Hoffer went 8-for-14 at the plate (.571) with two HR, 11 RBI, and six runs scored.
In the second contest with North Central, Hoffer had a monster six-RBI game in the three-hole, matching a career high that she set against the Rams in 2021. Hoffer belted a grand slam in the top of the second inning to make it 5-0. The short stop then crushed a two-run homer in the seventh, as the Knights went on their way to another victory in the series (9-1).
