Superior, WI - The MLC women's soccer team finished its 2025 season on the road Saturday at UW-Superior. The Knights gave the Yellowjackets a good challenge, but were unable to come out with the win, falling
2-0.
MLC had several close chances to score, including two corner kicks, but they couldn't convert on those opportunities. UW-Superior scored its first goal near the 27th minute on a goal from Kamryn Hill and added an insurance goal in the second period around the 58th minute of play.
UW-Superior rattled off 17 shots on goal, but the MLC defense was limited on the scoreboard as
Miriam Bitter had an impressive game at goalkeeper with 15 saves recorded.
With the loss, MLC is officially out of the UMAC Tournament as the No. 4 seed. Despite the result, the Knights finished with seven wins this season, which were the most wins in a regular season for MLC since the 2019 season, when they won eight contests.
