St. Paul, MN - The annual Jerome Kruse awards were released on Wednesday, and the MLC fall sports team placed third in the UMAC.
The award, named in honor of long-time Northwestern College (Wis.) and Martin Luther College athletic director Jerome Kruse, is given to the college or university with the most points accumulated by the place finishes of the college's athletic teams in the final standings of conference-sponsored sports.
Northwestern (Minn.) finished with the most points (43) out of the seven conference schools. MLC compiled 21.5 points.
