Game 2 UW-Superior 8, MLC 0 (7 innings)
In the first game of the day, MLC took the Yellowjackets to seven innings and the score would be just 3-0 in favor of UW-Superior through four innings. The Yellowjackets added two runs in the fifth and sixth innings with a big hit coming from Lily Hanson, who hit an RBI triple in the bottom of the sixth.
UW-Superior had six of their 13 hits go for extra bases, while the Knights finished with five hits as a team. All of MLC's hits came from five different players.
Game 3 UW-Superior 8, MLC 0 (6 innings)
MLC would have difficulty getting much going offensively again in the series' final game, as Bella Garley picked up her second win and struck out 10.
Jess Horn had two of MLC's three hits in the game, and the senior gave up four earned runs in six innings on the mound.
Despite the loss, the MLC defense played well in both games, especially in the outfield, with

Sarah Yonkovich making nice plays with the glove throughout the pair of contests. Yonkovich had 11 putouts combined at the center field position, and
Rachel McCaughna had a good series at third base, finishing with six assists on the left side of the infield.
