SUPERIOR, Wis. - MLC men's soccer was under constant pressure on Wednesday evening in an 11-0 loss to the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
Nicholas Russ and
Samuel Bigelow were both busy in the goal, facing 36 shots on target. Russ made an incredible 19 saves in about 57 minutes in net, Bigelow stepped in for the final 33 minutes and made six saves.
UWS fired off 59 total shots, had 14 corner kicks and controlled 67 percent of the possession in the win. Of that possession, the Yellowjackets had the ball in MLC's defensive half 80 percent of the game.
