New Ulm, MN - The MLC men's tennis team competed on Saturday for its first home match of the season and gave it a nice effort, but fell 7-0 to Nebraska Wesleyan.
The Prairie Wolves won all three doubles games decisively and took care of business in all of the singles match ups.
Gideon Heins made it competitive in his No. 2 singles game (3-6, 0-6), while
Abraham Schlomer took his No. 4 singles game to 4-6, 0-6. MLC played shorthanded as well, missing a couple of seniors in
Johannes Bourman and
Matthew Koelpin.
MLC men's tennis will be back in action on Saturday, April 11, when they travel to UW-Superior for an 11 a.m. match.
