Mankato, MN - The MLC men's tennis team lost 7-0 to Bethany Lutheran College on Tuesday on the road.

The Vikings won doubles play decisively, only allowing 1 point to be scored in all three matches played. Isaiah Scharf gave the biggest challenge out of all of the singles games. Scharf battled back in his second set to make it a 2-6, 5-7 decision.

Silas Hillmer managed three points in his second set in No. 6 singles, falling by a final of 1-6, 3-6.

MLC men's tennis will look for another win over Crown College after previously defeating the Polars 4-3 back on February 14. MLC will host Crown at 4 p.m. on Friday, April 17, and this time the match will count towards the conference standings.
