WAUWATOSA, Wis. - MLC jumped out to a lead, but were unable to hang on in a 2-1 loss against Wisconsin Lutheran on Sunday afternoon.

Jonah Uhlenbrauck scored on MLC's only first-half shot in the 41st minute, giving the Knights a halftime lead despite being outshot 12-1.
The pressure from the Warriors continued into the second half, where they outshot MLC 15-2. WLC dominated the ball to the tune of 60 percent possession, including the vast majority of that coming in the attacking half of the field.
Despite all of that pressure, it took a penalty kick in the 70th minute for WLC to find a way past goalkeeper
Nicholas Russ, who made 12 saves in the game. The Warriors went ahead fewer than eight minutes later on a goal from Matthew Wilton-Tamayo.
The Knights finish a busy opening week 1-1-1.
