Nick Schmoller enters his fifth season at the helm of MLC soccer in 2026. He has coached soccer at various youth levels for 18 years in addition to leading 20-plus summer soccer camps.
Schmoller has a long history of playing the sport. He played on the MLC team from 2002-2005, during which time he earned all-conference honors. He was part of teams that won two UMAC conference championships and advanced to the NAIA national tournament once.
Schmoller also sits on the board for New Ulm United Soccer Club.
Schmoller teaches Greek and Theology at MLC. He previously served as an admissions counselor at MLC and as the pastor of a new mission start, Lamb of God Lutheran, in Lafayette, IN.
