ABERDEEN, S.D. - The Martin Luther College women's soccer team lost 5-3 at Presentation on Thursday.
The Saints jumped on top early with three goals in the first 11 minutes, but the Knights showed signs of life on offense early in the second half on a goal by
Mary Falck in the 49th minute.Â
Presentation would answer, however, scoring twice in the next several minutes to take a 5-1 lead.
Morgan Hill and Falck would add goals later in the second half, but MLC was unable to cut any further into the deficit.Â
Falck's two goals give her four this season, while HIll's tally was her second.
Jenna Maurer and
Hailey Johnson were credited with one assist apiece.
The Knights fell to 4-13 on the season in defeat.Â
MLC will finish its regular season on Saturday, October 22, when it hosts St. Scholastica in a game scheduled to start at 3:15 p.m.
