STORM LAKE, Iowa - The Martin Luther College volleyball team lost its final non-conference match of the season 3-1 at Buena Vista on Wednesday by the scores of 25-12, 19-25, 25-12 and 25-12.
The Knights struggled early in a 25-12 first set defeat, but came back to even the match with a 25-19 second-set win. MLC hit .316 in the set with 16 kills.
That Beavers took control from there, however, winning the final two sets 25-12 to secure the win.
Grace Schultz led MLC with 11 kills and hit a team-best .318.

Jade St. Germaine each finished with eight kills.
Hailey Stade led the Knights with 16 assists and tied Grev for the team lead with nine digs.Â
MLC fell to 13-15 on the season with the loss, while BVU improved to 18-9 with the win.
The Knights will finish the season with three UMAC matches. The first of those matches will come on Saturday, October 21, at Northland College. That match will start at 3 p.m.
