ARDEN HILLS, Minn. - The Martin Luther College women's soccer team lost its final non-conference game of the season at Bethel University by the score of 3-0 on Monday.

The Royals jumped ahead early, scoring twice in the opening seven minutes, and then adding a third goal in the 26th minute.

The MLC defense and goalkeeper Erin Feddersen held the Royals off the scoreboard the rest of the way, but were unable to generate chances on the other end.

Feddersen played most of the game and allowed two of the three goals while stopping 10 of 12 shots on goal. 

The Knights dropped to 7-7-2 on the season in defeat, while BU improved to 8-6-2 with the win.

MLC will return to action on Wednesday, October 25, when it travels to Bethany Lutheran for a game scheduled to start at 5 p.m.
