ST. PAUL - The Martin Luther College women's soccer team saw several streaks end in a 7-0 loss at Hamline on Wednesday.
The Knights entered the match with a five-game win streak, and also tied a school record with a five-game shutout streak in those five games.
The Pipers ended that streak quickly, scoring just 22 seconds in the game, and then adding four more goals in the first half.
Hamline continued control play in the second half, scoring twice more to end the game.

Maria Tomassetti combined to stop 18 shots.
The Knights fell to 4-2-2 on the season in defeat, while Hamline improved to 6-3-1 with the win.
MLC will return to action in a non-conference match at Dordt on Friday, September 29. That game is scheduled to kick off at 1 p.m.
