SIOUX CENTER, Iowa - The Martin Luther College women's soccer team lost 2-0 at Dordt College on Friday in a non-conference contest.
The Defenders did all their scoring within a 90 second stretch in the first half, breaking a scoreless tie in the 18th minute and then adding the second goal in the 20th minute.
The MLC defense held Dordt scoreless the rest of the way, but were unable to create enough chances on the offensive end to cut into the deficit.
Goalkeeper
Erin Feddersen stopped 11 of 13 Dordt shots on goal to keep MLC in the contest.Â
Hailey Johnson and
Martha Balge recorded the two MLC shots.
The Knights fell to 4-3-2 on the season in defeat. Dordt improved to 6-4 with the win.
MLC will return to action on Tuesday, October 3, when it travels to North Central for a UMAC game scheduled to start at 4:15 p.m.
