NEW ULM, Minn. - The Martin Luther College women's soccer team dropped its first game of the season 4-0 against Saint Mary's (Minn.) on Friday.

MLC allowed 21 shots on goal for the game, with
Maria Tomassetti and
Mollie Fischer combining to stop 17 of those shots.Â
Morgan Hill registered the lone MLC shot on goal in the game, while
Emily Witkowski also recorded a shot.
MLC fell to 0-1 on the season in defeat. SMU opened its season 1-0 following the win.
The Knights will return to action on Wednesday, Sepember 5, when they travel to UW-River Falls for a game scheduled to start at 4:30 p.m.
