NEW ULM, Minn. - The Martin Luther College women's basketball team was unable to get anything going on the offensive end of the court in a 94-26 loss to Gustavus Adolphus on Tuesday.
The Knights struggled in all phases offensively, as they turned the ball over 38 times while also struggling to make shots both inside and out.
The Gusties took advantage, generating 37 points off turnovers and outscoring MLC 50-10 in the paint and 24-6 from beyond the three-point arc.
Emily Witkowski led MLC with six total points.
Kortney Behnke finished with six rebounds and a pair of assists.
MLC fell to 0-5 on the season in defeat. GAC improved to 2-0 with the win.
The Knights will return to action on Friday, November 22, when they travel to Holy Family for a game scheduled to tip off at 5:30 p.m.
