LAKEVILLE, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's tennis team swept North Central University 9-0 in a non-conference match held at Lifetime Fitness Center on Tuesday.
The Knights started strong, winning all three doubles matches by the scores of 8-0, 8-1 and 8-0.
In singles,
Josh Koelpin,
Nicolas Gartner,
Jonah Schulz,
Joshua Schroeder,
Caleb Koelpin and
Seth Koelpin all won in straight sets. All six players won at least one of their sets 6-0, and the Rams won only five total points in the six matches.
MLC improved to 2-3 on the season with the win. NCU fell to 0-2 in defeat.Â
The Knights will return to action on Saturday, February 23, when they play Hamline University at Baseline Tennis Center. The match is scheduled to start at 1:30 p.m.
