Box Score MINNEAPOLIS - The Martin Luther College men's tennis team was unable to slow down the Hamline Pipers in a 9-0 defeat on Saturday at Baseline Tennis Center.

The Pipers opened the match in dominating fashion, winning the three doubles contests by the scores of 8-0, 8-1 and 8-0.

In singles competition, Hamline swept all nine matches in straight sets to secure the team win.

MLC fell to 2-4 on the season in defeat, while Hamline improved to 3-2 with the win.

The Knights will return to action on Wednesday, February 27, when they open UMAC play in a match against North Central University. The match will be played at LIfetime Fitness Center in Lakeville, Minn., and will start at 10:30 a.m.
