VIRGINIA, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's tennis team lost 9-0 at first-place St. Scholastica on Saturday at the Virginia Tennis and Pickleball Club.
CSS opened strong in doubles play, taking all three matches by the scores of 8-1, 8-2 and 8-1.
In singles, the Saints finished off the sweep with six straight-sets wins.
MLC fell to 5-8 on the season and 2-3 in UMAC play in defeat. CSS improved to 9-7 overall and 4-0 in conference action with the win.
The Knights will return to action on Tuesday, April 16, when they host North Central in a non-conference match scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
