NEW ULM, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's tennis team lost only four total games in a 9-0 win over North Central University on Tuesday.
The Knights took all but two games in doubles play, topping the Rams by the score of 8-0, 8-2 and 8-0 to take a 3-0 overall lead.
In singles,
Josh Koelpin,
Nicolas Gartner,
Jonah Schulz and
Caleb Koelpin each won their match by the final of 6-0, 6-0.
Joshua Schroeder (6-0, 6-1) and
Seth Koelpin (6-1, 6-0) scored the other two singles wins for MLC.
MLC improved to 6-8 on the season with the win. NCU fell to 1-11 in defeat.
The Knights will return to action on Wednesday, April 24, when they host Crown College in the home finale. That match is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
