MANKATO, Minn. - The Martin Luther College volleyball team lost its non-conference match at Bethany Lutheran College 3-0 (25-14, 25-23, 25-16) on Friday.
The Vikings were strong on the attack throughout the match and finished with an attack efficiency of .232 over the three sets.Â
BLC was also strong defensively against the MLC hitters and finished with 11 blocks, pushing the Knights' attack efficiency to .010 for the match.Â
Jewel St. Germaine led MLC with 13 assists and three service aces, and also added 15 digs.
Kate Aswege led all players with a match-high 16 digs.Â
Kati Aguilar was the Knights' top hitter with 10 kills.
MLC fell to 2-11 on the season in defeat, while BLC improved to 5-9 with the win.Â
The Knights will return to action tomorrow (Saturday, September 21) when they host Macalester at 3 p.m.
