MINNEAPOLIS - The Martin Luther College women's tennis team lost 9-0 to St. Catherine at the Baseline Tennis Center on Saturday.

In doubles action to start the match, St. Kate's won all three 1-8, 0-8 and 0-8.

In singles play, the Wildcats won all six matches in straight sets to secure the sweep.

MLC fell to 0-2 on the season in defeat. St. Kate's improved to 1-0 with the win.

The Knights will return to action on Tuesday, February 18, when they play at Mount Mary in a match scheduled to start at 1 p.m.
