NEW ULM, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's tennis team won its home match against Crown College 9-0 on Thursday.
The Knights were in control from start to finish, winning the three doubles matches by the scores of 8-1, 8-1 and 8-0.
MLC also swept the singles, as
Jonah Schulz (6-3, 6-2),
Benjamin Foss (6-0, 6-0),
Seth Koelpin (6-0, 6-0),
Marcus Sims (6-0, 6-0),
Josiah Koelpin (6-4, 6-1) and
Elijah Schulz (6-0, 6-0) each won in straight sets.
The Knights improved to 2-4 overall and 2-2 in UMAC play with the win. The Strom dropped to 0-5 on the season and in league play in defeat.
MLC will return to action on Thursday when it travels to Northwestern for a match scheduled to start at 6 p.m.
