WHITE BEAR LAKE, Minn. - The Martin Luther College men's tennis team lost its match at University of Northwestern-St. Paul (UNW) 9-0 at Lifetime Fitness Center on Friday.

The Knights battled and made UNW work in doubles, but the Eagles ended up sweeping the three matches by the scores of 8-7, 8-2 and 8-6.

In singles, the Eagles won all six matches in straight sets.

MLC dropped to 2-5 on the season and 2-3 in UMAC play in defeat. The Eagles improved to 17-2 overall and 4-0 in league play with the win.
