Lady Knights Go 1-0-1 on Weekend

The MLC women's soccer team had a relatively successful road trio this weekend, going 1-0-1. 
The Knights had a a successful visit to Morris on Thursday by taking down the Cougars 1-0 on an early second half goal by Megan Martin, assisted by Sam Colvin. Martin now has 4 goals on the season. The Knights would make the score hold up for the rest of the game. The Knights out shot the Cougars 21-11. Goalie Grace Sievert made four saves and recorded her fourth shutout. 

On Saturday, MLC battled Crown to a 0-0 tie. Earlier in the season the Knights lost to Crown. Crown out shot MLC 14-7, but Goalie Grace Sievert had 10 saves as she recorded her fifth shutout this season. 

The Knights now stand at 5-8-4 overall and 3-6-3 in the UMAC. Currently, the Knights are tied for ffth place in the conference with UM-Morris.
