The Knights closed the season winning against North Central (18-25, 18-25, 25-10, 25-20, 18-16) and losing to Northwestern (16-25, 11-25, 10-25).
In the first two games vs. NCU, the Knights started off slow only recording eighteen kills between the two matches. Averaging 42% attack by set in the first two games, North Central had the win just in reach. However, that did not stop the Knights.Â
In the remaining three games, the Knights battled back, crushing the Cardinals and keeping them only to ten points in the third set. The Knights kept a hold went on to win the match in five, going into extra points in the fifth set.
Hannah Willems had thirteen kills in the match, with Grace Kieselhorst delivering twenty-three assists, and Naomi Bridgemen recording sixteen digs.
On Saturday, the Knights went to St. Paul to play Northwestern. The Eagles were on top of the match from the start and did not release their grip on the Knights. With only two instances of a tied score, the Knights could not get anything to fall in their favor. With everyone playing in the last set, the Knights ended their season just as they started–as a team.Â
The Knights end their conference season with a record of 10-16 and a conference record of 6-8.
