NEW ULM, Minn. - The Martin Luther College women's tennis team lost its home match against University of Northwestern-St. Paul (UNW) 9-0 on Monday.
The Knights battled in doubles, but UNW was still able to come away with all three points thanks to wins by the scores of 8-1, 8-6 and 8-6.
The Eagles continued to show their quality in singles, winning each of the six matches in straight sets to secure the overall sweep.
MLC fell to 0-8 on the season and 0-3 in UMAC play in defeat. UNW improved to 10-3 overall and 3-0 in league play with the win.
The Knights will return to action at home tomorrow (Tuesday, April 12) when they host Bethany Lutheran College.Â
