MLC Men's Soccer Open with a Win

The Martin Luther College men's soccer team notched their first win with a 2-1 score against Maranatha Baptist in Watertown Wis. First-year co-coaches earned their first win since taking over the Knights soccer program. The Knights went up 1-0 midway through the first half on a goal from Zair Palacios, assisted by Johannes Bourman and Xander Heiman. Nathan Pausma put the Knights up 2-0 on an unassisted goal early in the second half. MBU added a late goal by Joseph Greene. Adam Rosenbaum gained the win in goal as he saved four shots.
