La Crosse, WI - The Martin Luther College women's basketball team lost its Monday night road game to UW-La Crosse
78-42.
The Eagles would control the game on both ends of the court for the entirety of the four quarters, as they outrebounded MLC 61-43 and held the Knights to just 15-of-66 (22.7%) from the floor and four-for-28 from the three point line.Â
However,
Jordyn Heckendorf did have another strong performance for the Knights' backcourt and led the team with 17 points and seven rebounds and added two steals.Â
Moving forward, MLC will look to repeat their success in a 73-46 win over Mount Mary for their first win last season, when they face the Blue Angels again this year on Sunday, November 26, on Thanksgiving weekend. The two teams will square off in Milwaukee for a 1 p.m. start time.
