Superior, WI - MLC (8-12, 1-8) lost their previous game to UW-Superior 59-42, in a matchup where the Knights shot 26.3 percent from the floor. On Friday, MLC nearly equaled their shooting percentage from their last meeting and shot 26.2 percent. The cold shooting contributed to a 69-35 loss against UW-Superior.

    The Knights got off to a rough start and had a season-low 3 points at the end of the first quarter. The first field goal of the game didn't come until the 13 second mark of the first quarter on an Emma Nelson bucket. From there, UW-Superior took advantage of mistakes by MLC and scored 21 points off of turnovers in the first half and entered the break with a 40-15 lead.

    The Yellowjackets carried their momentum onto the second half and shot the ball efficiently on the way to their win over the Knights. Katie Dobson led UW-Superior with 18 points on 7-of-9 shooting (66.7 percent), while MLC was led in scoring by Emma Nelson who had 8 points.
