St. Peter, MN - The Martin Luther College women's tennis team fell
7-2 in their Saturday afternoon match. The Knights remain winless (0-9) against UW-Superior all-time since 2018.
In doubles play, MLC came up just short in the three games by a score of 8-4, 8-6, 8-6.
The Knights' singles matches were very competitive, starting with
Sarah Hoffe who took her No. 3 match to a final set-tiebreaker 2-6, 6-2, 2-6. Meanwhile,
Abigail Schewe also played a hard fought match, falling 7-6, 2-6, (0-1) 6-10.
Rachel Schoeneck won her No 6. match 7-6, 6-1.
Up next MLC (3-11, 3-5) will play Minnesota Morris on Monday, April 24 at the MLC tennis courts.
