Superior, WI - The Martin Luther College women's soccer team lost its Saturday afternoon game on the road at UW-Superior
4-0. The Yellowjackets held MLC to no shot attempts, while attempting 46 of their own (19 on goal).
Mya Holmquist put UW-Superior on the board in the fifth minute and Beth Schneider made it 2-0 on a penalty goal kick right before intermission.
Holmquist added another goal to give her squad the 3-0 lead 10 minutes into the second period and from there the Yellowjackets held onto the lead for a conference win over the Knights.

Maria Vik was challenged by the UW-Superior attack and did record 14 saves for MLC.
MLC will look to bounce back as they get ready for their next contest at Northwestern on Wednesday, October 30, at 3:30 p.m.
